Mulling Activating FileValut…

Apple’s FileVault

I’m seriously considering activating FileVault on my personal laptop. Not the one for the day job… Nope. Company policy (of all things) specifically says that’s a “no no”. No this is the GROCIO laptop.

I can see a situation where that laptop gets misplaced, stolen, whatever and falls in the worst possible hands and all I’ve worked on becomes compromised. Not a good prospect.

So, I’m wondering what others out there are experiencing with FileVault. Why’d you choose to use FileVault or not?
